What worked best for me is getting in the shade or waiting for the sun to set, then soaking a microfiber cloth in warm water and placing it over all the bug guts and let it soak for 5 minutes, then gently remove the microfiber cloth to prevent scratching, then spraying on this product and letting it set, then using a new / clean microfiber cloth to wipe off the bug guts and tar.
