I don't like the keyboard on the laptop - I keep hitting keys I don't want to hit and the heat from the CPU is right under my left hand, making it a bit uncomfortable to rest it there for very long, so I like to use the USB connection to add another keyboard. The keyboard I had from before was a media key type, which was very bulky, taking up too much room. I found this one after researching on the internet. It combines a smaller size with a smaller price - just right for me.You can buy mini keyboards that are set up like the laptop keyboards, which is not what I wanted. This one is just like the bigger ones, but everything is a bit smaller and a bit closer together, making for a smaller footprint. It also doesn't have all those extra keys on the top, which I never used anyway. It's just a basic keyboard in a compact size. Unfortunately, it was not. The keys are a little too close together and I miss the large backspace key, but, it has all the keys I need and, with practice, I am adjusting to it. I still enjoy the click click sound of the keys and the size is great - not bulky with so many unnecessary keys, and takes up much less space.
