This means I can receive my calls, texts, smart notifications, as well as log my runs, bike rides and more activities. Differences - The forerunner 245 is designed with running as priority 1, and the G1 with diving as priority 1. There are no dive modes on FR 245. FR 245 will be lighter because of this, and additionally the FR 245 has a color screen. On the G1 you get a monochrome screen..but much better batter life(4 months on solar).
