Apple did a fantastic job of making it extremely difficult to take the original screen off. Maybe a little applied heat would have softened the adhesive that I didn't know was there. That's a hint to anyone else who might run across this issue.Throughout my adventures in screen replacement, I've had a handful of faulty screens that had to be returned and replaced just to find one that worked fully. This one worked the first time out of the box. Kudos to these guys for having a screen that works and that I'd come back to again in the future if/when I ever need another one for the iPhone 7. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not the worst, not the best. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 31, 2018* Issues right from the beginning. First off the 3 stared screwdriver that came with my kit would only work for about 4 of the screws when trying to get them off. I ended up having to “sharpen” the tip of the driver to make it more pointy in order to get it to even really fit the screws and even then, I had to put some pressure on the screw in order to feel like it was in there to get the screw out.The process is very easy, but I’ve replaced a few different screens before so I knew what expect.Another con of this product, and as man of the other reviews have pointed out, the quality of the screen is not as good as the original. The colors are off and the clarity isn’t the greatest. The colors seem a lot darker and a lot less vibrant as well as you can just see there’s an irritating difference when looking at the screen. Comparing mine to my husbands iPhone 7 Plus with the original screen there is a glaring difference that it somewhat annoying.This screen also responds to EVERYTHING that touches it where the original Apple screen only responds to fingerprint touches. I had it sittin next to my leg an when I moved my leg it reacted to the contact immediately. Also when the phone is lying down, the screen has a blue tint to it.For this screen being a little more expensive than many of the other screens I’ve seen on amazon, it could have been a better quality. This kit had everything and was packaged very well. This is an after marker screen so it's different from the original in regards to thickness and the ribon cable that's near the home button. Screen works well however the green is a little off.
