I got it because I'm always misplacing my earphones. With this watch they'll always be with me. I had gotten another watch that came with earphones and they were terrible. These earphones work flawlessly. I never owned airpods, but I'm guessing they're identical to these. When I take them out of the watch, my iPhone detects them as Airpods - something that didn't happen with the other watch I mentioned. They also have a long battery life, they sound great and can get really loud if you pump up the volume - unlike the other watch. I highly recommend this watch. Even though I haven't tested out the other smart watch features, the headphones themselves makes this purchase worth it. I really hope they'll keep making them and come out with accessories like to protect the screen, and replacement parts in case something fails.
