Definitely give a few a read and filter them before playing with guests/children. There are blanks inside so you can even add your own which is helpful. The pieces are a smooth plastic which makes it more of a challenge than regular jenga because the pieces slide against eachother too. It doesnt offer much traction, so the tower wont get too high before a game is over. The instruction book was easy to understand and had multiple ways to questionably play the game. One suggested stacking them up like a domino line and knocking them over, but could not get a single one to stand up due to the caps being bigger than the rest of the rectanglular shapes so they always lean. With careful hands they do stand up. Im the pieces are cute and colorful with lots of variety. Unfortunately setup will have to be manual since the box stores pieces vertically instead of horizontal and its slightly larger than the towers, so cant improvize a quick tower.but otherwise very easy and fun to play! You just have to pass them around if you're using them for a game. **Q: I feel like wooden Jenga works due to the very slight difference in block sizes, which allows you to remove them. Do these all stick together?** A: The blocks are made of plastic. Therefore, making them slippery. However, you can still stack the sushi blocks together and they stay together like the regular wood jenga. **Q: I see that they are little containers. The one we like to play is with the wasabi pieces, basically Jenga meets Charades/Minute to Win It. It was very easy for our kids to pick up. It is harder than Jenga though, because the sushi pieces/boxes are pretty slippery with the chopsticks (even with the plastic grips), but that is what makes it challenging.
