This one from Amazon is my 2nd. The material is sturdy but still feels soft and supple. The inside is like a shooting rug. It easily holds a full size (auto) pistol with a little space left over but not so much like some brands that become floppy. This one is for my Beretta 92fs, it would easily hold a 1911. As others have stated, the zipper is very heavy duty. My favorite feature is that there are 2 outside pockets. One has enough room for 2 boxes of ammo or tools or whatever. The other side has 4 magazine slots which are enclosed by the pocket.
