Review: Fantastic computer for someone who doesn't need a lot of computing power. - This little business class refurb micro has been everything I want in a home use desktop computer. I don't put a lot of strain on my computers. I don't store much on them, I don't use them for serious computing -- basic word processing, finance management, and internet access. I love that it's so small. The desktop that I replaced was over a decade old and was starting to creak, and it was enormous. This takes up barely any room on my desk. My only complaint was that, when it was refurbished, the onboard wifi card was removed and replaced with a 2.4 single speed plug in dongle that was, frankly, terrible. I replaced it with a dual band 2.4/5 GHz plug in for $15 and couldn't be happier with the results. The only glitch I've had is I purchased an online Blizzard game at Christmas, a classic title, and there are certain situations (not frequent, though) in which the onboard graphics can't handle what's required so blocks will go dark. Not a big deal, and I knew going in that it would likely challenge the unit's capabilities. All in all, extremely pleased with my purchase.

This little business class refurb micro has been everything I want in a home use desktop computer. I don't put a lot of strain on my computers. I don't store much on them, I don't use them for serious computing -- basic word processing, finance management, and internet access. I love that it's so small. The desktop that I replaced was over a decade old and was starting to creak, and it was enormous. This takes up barely any room on my desk. My only complaint was that, when it was refurbished, the onboard wifi card was removed and replaced with a 2.4 single speed plug in dongle that was, frankly, terrible. I replaced it with a dual band 2.4/5 GHz plug in for $15 and couldn't be happier with the results. The only glitch I've had is I purchased an online Blizzard game at Christmas, a classic title, and there are certain situations (not frequent, though) in which the onboard graphics can't handle what's required so blocks will go dark. Not a big deal, and I knew going in that it would likely challenge the unit's capabilities. All in all, extremely pleased with my purchase.
