Eggs are collected every day and sent fresh. We have a great hatching rate at the Farm. Please know and keep in mind before buying that shipping hatching eggs can be a risk as the delicate membranes in the egg can be damaged during the process and reduce or destroy the eggs' viability. They may also be exposed to harsh conditions, dropped, x-rayed, many can happen once they are dropped off at the post office. USPS seems to have the absolute best shipping policies for hatching eggs that are clearly marked and the hatch rate appears to be the best with their service which is why we have chosen them as our courier to your door. You NEVER want a washed egg btw! All 6 arrived in perfect condition, no microcracks or air cell problems. I waited almost 24 hours to start them and now all I have to do is lightly mist them every day and in 28 days I should hopefully have some babies! Hatching mailed eggs is always a risk but this Seller gave them the best start possible. UPDATE: Halfway to hatch EVERY SINGLE EGG is developing. This doesn't mean I'll get 6 live ducks but they were all fertile and healthy so hopefully I do. PERFECT!! *by A***O on June 1, 2024* I made an order for 5+ eggs on april 23rd arrived by the 26th everything was well packaged & protected (this is my first time incubating anything) so i gave everything about the whole process that could go wrong the benefit of the doubt. I was relieved to receive 6 perfect looking non-damaged eggs! So it was off to a great start. Fast forward to hatch date May 23-24. (It is now May 31st as i am writing this review so they are about 7-8 days old now doing great) They all hatched Healthy (100% fertility 100% hatchability) with no problems what so ever number 6 is the runt being the smallest out of the 6 ducklings it actually had splayed legs but we quickly patched that up at home. All in all we think we hatched 1 Mallard, 1 Rouen, 1 Black Swedish, 1 Buff, 2 chocolate runners! Thats a wide variety! I was hoping to get lucky enough to get a pekin as it is my favorite duck (sadly i didnt), but i personally love the thrill of not knowing what ill get i am happy nonethless with everything that came out of it (: which is why this review is a 5/5 stars… or in this case 6/6 eggs hahaha 😃 i strongly recommend giving it a try!
