This product is a machine for measuring acidity (pH).

**Q: Does this work with testing blood pH?**
A: The pH value of mammals is normally controlled around 7.35-45 in the body. Once outside the blood vessels, blood pH easily falls outside this range due to atmospheric and temperature effects. This pH meter will respond to blood, but the value should not be considered to be with the sealed and temperature-controlled blood sample values that are measured in the lab.
