The measurement was just under 6 metres, even allowing for any unforseen obstacles I might have needed to negotiate. The '10m' cable arrived yesteday and I fixed it in place today, using some cable grips along some skirting board and the rest of the cable running under our carpets. I had just enough cable to connect the box and the modem with about one-third of a metre to spare.That's confirmation enough that I have been overcharged for a 6m cable purporting to be a 10m cable. The upshot is, however, that the cable has fitted where it touches so unless it irretrievably breaks down I won't be sending it back.My advice to buyers is, just because something is described as 10m (or whatever) long on the sales page and on the label on the bag, it doesn't necessarily follow that you will get the full length claimed.I have knocked two stars off from my review, which equates to one star for the claimed 10m cable not actually being 10m and one star for being charged for a cable that's really around 4m shorter than what I was expecting to receive (and paid for). The three remaining stars are for (1) the cable fitted (just!) and is doing its job, (2) delivery time was excellent and (3) the fact that I didn't need to send the cable back because it nearly wasn't long enough (when it should have been). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic cable *by B***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 May 2022* This cable is brilliant. Very well made, does exactly what the description says. Used it to connect my Xbox to the router through 2 rooms and a hallway. Love the fact it braided for extra strength and flat which makes it neat. I have gone from 4-6 mbps on the wifi to getting a minimum of 68mbps! First I bought “cat6” cable from some other seller, and when I connected to my nvidia shield (20meter) it was capping my link speed to 100mbps, so I ordered from here for very cheap 25meters cat 7 and works great, speed is going around 900+ mbps on my 1gb internet.
