There are rings inside so you can hang the costumes to transport them and the actual bar is nice and sturdy. I was able to hang all 6 of my daughter’s costumes with accessories (including two large tutus and a pair of tap shoes) without any wobble in the bar, or the bag tipping over. The Velcro-in tray is a super handy feature for keeping bobby-pins, earrings, bun-makers, and other small items handy while you’re doing quick changes in between numbers. I also really like that the bar is off to the side instead of over the bag opening like a lot of other costume bags, this makes all of the pockets way more accessible. I haven’t had it long, so I can’t speak to it’s durability, but it feels very sturdy and high-quality. The boxes it came in (both the inner and outer) were destroyed, but the bag was still in great condition; it can definitely take a beating. And when the seasons over we can take the poles out and it folds flat for storage!! A great buy would definitely recommend for any competition dancer! We bought it off here so it wasn’t the deluxe and didn’t come with the stool and mirror! Honestly I bought a separate stool and mirror! She hardly uses the stool or mirror!
