Turned out the ground wire inside the electrical box had come loose! I let the smoke out of the unit before I could even try it. I opened the unit up, and saw on the back of the circuit board, a trace had simply vaporized. Short circuit. I replaced the trace with the leg of a resistor, and presto! The unit works as good as new! It doesn't dim my LED's to OFF, but it dims them to VERY dim, which is more than I could have asked for seeing as these were $5 downlights from eBay! VERY happy with this unit, and that occupancy sensor has a 180Β° viewing angle, it's SO SO sensitive, I love it! Also, by default the timeout is 5 minutes from no motion detection (ir sensor) and when the 5 minutes is up, the lights SLOWLY fade off so you have time to stand up and move again or whatever you need (currently, it's mounted outside of the room it illuminates as I'm still finishing that room) and then it waits 25 seconds before it reactivates unless you PRESS the button.
