I've used all kinds of fire starters over the years, including a propane torch. There's nothing I hate worse than a chemical smell coming off the fire I'm trying to start. Doesn't matter whether I'm gonna to cook on it or not, I just really hate that smell. So a friend of mine recommended the Jealous Devil Boom Firestarters and he was 100% correct, I'm never gonna use anything else.
