There are less expensive versions from other sellers but I went with Brookstone to ensure quality and reliability. The chair is very good quality and is heavy enough that a average end gusts will not blow it away but not too heavy for me to move. The day it arrived it was still cool outside so I unfolded and set it up in the living room to try it out. It is so comfortable it could replace any recliner I have ever had. I have arthritis in my back and it immediately took all the pressure off my spine when I reclined. The more I reclined, the more comfortable it was. It was so comfortable that I know that I could actually sleep in it. It is now outside and is my 'Archie' chair that everyone knows not to sit in because it belongs to me and only me. My husband at first was skeptical but now he wants one too. Reclining does not take a lot of effort and then two side latches lock it in that position. I read a couple of reviews that said it was hard to get in and out of, which I can see a slight effort, but not more than any other lounge chair. We are now going to buy another one for us and one for our father in law who is 85.
