Review: Decent little chopper, but heavy. - Not as big as I expected, but seemingly well built (that's what she said). Was decently sharp out of the box, and blade shape allows for easy sharpening. Handle is comfortable in a blade-up grip as would be used for chopping, but the pocket clip is in the way when gripping in a blade-down grip as used for defensive applications. It's heavier than most of my other folding knives and the balance point is handle centric about 1.25" below the pivot point. I love the aggressive chopping blade and overall look of the knife.

I bought it on a whim, and I liked it so much I bought a second one to give to my brother in law to add to his collection. It’s large. It’s weight and balance are just right. It’s assisted opening, and it does so with a bit of authority. And that curved blade easily sharpened up. For some, the design may be a bit on the wild side, but I love the “aged black wash” look. I own a lot of knives. This is the only knife that I placed a second order almost as soon as I had opened the first. This is a very cool knife at a great price !

Very nice, relatively cheap knife that actually of a surprising quality. The blade steel is nothing to fawn over, but it is quite easy to sharpen so not something worth complaining about, not at this price point. The knife also has a very unique look, and the spring assist mechanism makes it very snappy. Gave one to my brother and bought a replacement for myself. The distinctive look is surprisingly a conversation starter, especially between people who are knife enthusiasts. Bottom line, would reccomend it, and would buy again if I were to lose the one I have.
