Review: Perfect! - I’m a first time mom but have a lot of kids in the extended family. I’ve seen my aunts diaper bags come and go and was pretty sure this was the sweet spot! For one kid this is the sweet spot for me. Plenty of room for supplies and a nice flat section in the back for the travel pad and a great place to shove paperwork when at the doctors office. Outer pocket has enough room for insurance cards, credit cards, and a handful of stuff for me if I don’t want to take my purse. Nice cooler for breastmilk or a bottle and a structured mesh case for boys and pieces like binkys or bottle/pump parts. I like the slopping too because while I generally don’t cram it overfull I can wiggle in my breast pump if I have to. Easy over the shoulder but hangs on a stroller bar nice too if the weather is questionable and lower parts of the stroller might hit a puddle or mud. Nice to have options.

**Q: What is the difference between this and last year’s model?**
A: The quilting is slightly different and the print on the inside zipper carriers. No major differences, but we are hoping the top handle is a little sturdier - that wa sour only issue with the older version

**Q: How long do the shoulder straps extend?**
A: I’m 5’9” and I have the straps extended all the was to the end. I wish there was more strap length. It’s the only bummer about this bag.

**Q: I'm trying to decide between this and the Maman backpack. Recommendations?**
A: I’m not familiar with the Maman backpack but I can tell you that this one is fairly petite.  Initially we bought this for my husband to use when with the baby but it’s such a tight fit on him that I just ended up taking over it. While it’s petite it is extremely spacious! Literally I packed all beach/pool day equipment plus baby essentials in here.

I have bought Skip Hop fashion diaper bags in the past and was left disappointed because they always looked better online than in person. That said, I did not have high hopes for this bag. Well, they proved me wrong! This bag is so beautiful and expensive looking. The quality is outstanding and the design is so thoughtful. I am a mom of many and have owned many a diaper bag. This one is my favorite of them all. Key features that I love: The fabric - easy to wipe clean but so lovely to look at and soft to touch. The side pockets - perfect for my water bottle, a toddler sippy or a baby bottle. The inside - again, quality fabric and lovely color and wonderfully spacious. The packing cubes- perfect size for my toddlers change of clothes (potty training needs covered) and for my baby’s change of clothes. Messes happen! The backpack design- hands free so I can balance a baby on my hip and hold a toddler’s hand while not having my bag swing all over in the process. Also, I have shoulder issues and the evenly distributed weight of the bag is a big help to prevent muscle fatigue and tension. Also, could I just add, I got the navy and the beautiful tan stitching and detailing really made me fall in love. Overall just a truly lovely bag.
