This glass screen protector is as good as it is possible to be. Screen protectors in general are very nice to have, but generally a pain to install properly. This one however, is an exception. The company, Cubevit..???, has designed a good product with an almost foolproof installation. I always try to read all of the instructions before I get started, and in this case there are a couple of good hints in the little booklet. One of the problems that always seems to raise it's head is fingerprints on the protector itself. You usually don't see them until it is installed. Another potential problem is bubbles underneath the protector. With this one, it is possible to do the installation without ever touching the underside at all. They have a small tab attached to the removable mask that allows you to peel it off with absolutely NO issues. In addition, they provide some little stick on discs that overhang the edge. You can then grasp and hold and align the protector without ever touching the glass itself. The side of the protector that goes against the screen has an adhesive of some sort that allows the glass to stick to the screen and yet be removable if necessary. Pretty cool system. When you place the protector in contact with the screen (obviously being CAREFUL of the alignment..), the adhesive seems to "flow" or "spread" outwards from the center toward the edges leaving absolutely NO voids or bubbles anywhere. You just need to press lightly in the center of the screen and it essentially installs itself. Just wipe your finger tips across the screen from the center outwards toward the edges and corners. PERFECT installation. YOUR JOB is to get the alignment correct. If you manage to do that, you will have a spare in case the first one gets broken when you drop your FIRE. There are two protectors in the package... and two complete sets of installation pieces.All of this is explained in the little (tiny..) instruction "booklet". It really is small. But truthfully, if you can read and follow instructions, this screen protector is easily installed. I've been around for a few years (more than 60..) and have installed quite a few protectors over the years. This one is the best and EASIEST I have ever used. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works perfect. Make sure everything is clean, and dust free. Here's my tip, have everything ready to install after a hot, steamy shower. Keep the bathroom door closed until it's installed. The steam in the air virtual eliminates any dust from falling on the cleaned screen. I do all my glass screen protectors like this. Tablets, phones, whatever. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent *by A***. on Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2018* Great product. Easy to install, and the super-slidey feel is much better than the normal screen. I assume this is due to the oleophobic coating. Definitely improves the touch feel of the HD8.The protector is very easy to install, and reinstall if you get the alignment wrong. This is the easiest to apply screen protector I've ever used. As a piece of solid thin tempered glass, it lays flat with no bubbles.The screen cleaner wipe though does seem to leave some residue, and I used my own screen cleaners and lens tissues. The sticky dust catcher is of dubious value. Mainly, just do the application in a very dust free environment.All in all, great - in my review of the Fire HD8, my one complaint was the lack of a oleophobic coating (i.e. rejecting oils from your fingers). This screen protector fixes that issue.
