NOTE: Goose eggs are too large to fit into the yellow egg turner. If you are looking for an incubator that is easy to use, without always worrying about temperature or humidity fluctuation, the Maticoopx 30 egg incubator is just designed for this! Advanced Temperature control program: Unlike many of other incubators, this incubator use an advanced “Temperature Tracking and Prediction” technology, which can continuously tracking and recording the temperature changes 3 times per second, then based on this data to predict the temperature trend and make prompt adjustments to heating system in advance to offset possible temperature fluctuation, this can bring a much more stable temperature for your eggs and thus improves hatch rate; in other words, this incubator provides more precise temperature control over many of other incubators who still use traditional on/off thermostat to roughly control the incubator temperature. Easy Humidity Monitor and Control: Unlike many of other incubators that each time filling water will need to open incubator lid and will cause humidity fluctuation; for this incubator you can directly fill water into external water top-up, which is much more convenient and can highly reduce the humidity fluctuation. Also, it can display humidity level, so you can clearly monitor humidity level at any time. Automatic egg turner with auto-stop: Every 60 minutes, the automatic egg turner will gently tilting the eggs from one side to the other side. Also, it has a built-in timer to help you keep tracking the days, so you can clearly know how many days left. Furthermore, it will help you automatically stop turning eggs 3 days before hatch day to avoid excess turning to your eggs. Review: Hands down my favorite "small" incubator. I've used everything from the Nurture Right 360, to the cheap yellow and clear incubators and will probably chose this one every time. These a great for beginners and seasoned hatchers alike. They are completely plug and play with easy instructions. I've been running mine from Feb-July straight, with no issues or indication that its slowing down or burning out. On my own farm raised eggs, I get between 85%-100% hatch rates. A few things to note or help with better hatch rates: - The packaging isn't the greatest from the manufacturer. The yellow baskets are loosely packed into the incubator which sadly allowed them to scratch up the clear plastic of the cover during shipping. Not a huge deal, just a bit ugly looking. - Invest in a secondary thermometer/hydrometer. I do see that it runs a bit cooler compared to what it's showing on the lid, but I do have mine in my basement. Having a second thermometer can easily fix this. BUT, I have just "run it as it" at 100.5 degrees without a secondary unit, and still had great hatch rates. - Controlling humidity can be tricky, BUT there is a very easy solution. Take a water bottle, poke a hole in the lid of it. Get a shoestring, feed one end of it in the water bottle (filled with water), and the other into Port A. Place just a bit of the string in Port A, and if you need more humidity, simply feed the string in more. If you need lower humidity, take some of the strong out and open the air vent just a bit. But always give it an hour to 2 to stabilize before making more adjustments. - Basket liners and elastics are important if you have smaller eggs. I put kitchen shelf liner strips in each basket to ensure that the eggs are staying still when the baskets are rotating. I also put an elastic at one end of the basket to help keep my eggs together (they are medium size). This helps them not bump and crack when the baskets are rotating. - During lockdown, put a shelf liner down for the bottom. This helps the chicks stand and walk properly without slipping or getting their legs caught in the bottom grates. It also helps for easier clean up! My only feedback is, that if i have 30 eggs go to lockdown, I find it a bit cramped when they are hatching. I've now moved to moving eggs to a bigger, separate incubator for hatching which seems to work for me. This also helps me prolong the life of the incubator (no baby fluff getting into the fan), and clean up is a breeze when I'm simply wiping/disinfecting instead of having to fully wash out egg shells and poop every time. My bigger unit is cheap but very easy to clean, so this has saved me a lot of time and $$ running both!

**Q: Does this incubator work for Guinea and Peacock eggs?**
A: Yes, Guinea eggs are slightly smaller than chicken eggs are so you can fit more in the trays

**Q: How many Quail eggs will this incubator hold?**
A: We have not used it on eggs that size. I would guess 12-15 per tray. That is estimating 2 or more per a regular sized chicken egg.

**Q: Does this come with trays for quail eggs too?**
A: I have had 100% hatch rate with incubator twice now. I actually bought another one! The trays are all the same size, but you can either lay the eggs on their sides or upright! You should be able to get lots of quail eggs in it! Good luck!

GREAT incubator. very easy to use with almost 100% hatch rate. we used it many, many, times and would only lose an egg or two every once in a while. super easy to set up, comes with clear instructions and fairly easy to clean. our cats even knocked it off our table at one point and we still had a successful hatch with no malfunctions. chicks came out healthy, thriving and ready for the world
