It feels like plastic, but it provides full coverage of the screen, unlike some other screen protectors.The box says that the screen protector has adhesive only on the edges. Despite this, it installs easily and sticks well. I didn't have any issues with bubbles or peeling.The side bezels are a little bit wider than those on the phone itself, so the protector blocks a small amount of each side of the screen (around the width of the scroll bar). I haven't found this to be a big deal, and I'd rather lose a small amount of the screen than have poor adhesion.EDIT: A couple weeks after I installed this, it cracked. I think the cracking was my fault, but it indicates that this protector certainly is made of glass. The cracked protector is still installed on my phone, and it is sticking together well (and not shattering).
