After considering many different brackets I decided on this one, and I am very happy that I did. PROS: + The bracket is very lightweight, yet sturdy. + There are multiple attachment points: + There are 2 very sturdy cold-shoes for attaching accessories on the upper bracket + There's a 1/4-20 thread between the cold-shoes + There's another 1/4-20 thread at the base for your camera or iPhone gimbal + There's also a threaded hole at the base for attaching a small tabletop tripod or a tripod plate. This nut also has a threaded hole in the bottom which enables you to attach it to a tripod there as well. If you don't like the placement of the cold shoes or thumb screws, you can move them around and put them right where you need it. Tip: If you need more attachments at the bottom, you can add an additional threaded screw to the slot. I added an additional one for attaching a tripod ball head, to which I attach a digital audio recorder, to which I can attach a small shotgun mic. With this L Bracket I am able to attach and configure all the accessories to create a very well-equipped iPhone filmmaking rig. If you're looking for a good L-Bracket, this one will do the trick and do it very well.
