Can I mix a batch with one dunk and store it to spray onto the surface of my garden as needed?** A: Hi I just saw your question, and i have a way these work for my plants. I use gallon milk jugs and put 1/4 of a mosquito dunk in each. For a small sprayer you'd only needed a small piece, but just spraying your plants or the top of the soil won't kill the larvae. You'll need to water each plant with the treated water to effectively eradicate the gnats. I've found that the small piece that I use lasts for a month, and i just write the date on a piece of masking tape attached it to the jug. I'm not 100% sure, but with these being made up of live bacteria, I don't cap the jugs. Idk if they require air, but I don't want to mistakenly kill those. I hope this helps! **Q: Where can I place these if i have no standing water in my backyard or front yard and how many for a total 1/4 acre?** A: Why would you want to use these if you have no standing water? That’s all they’re designed for. Perhaps the mosquitos you’re fighting are coming from a neighbor’s yard who does have standing water, in which case they’re the ones who should be using this product. **Q: I use these in buckets or kid water table. Should the standing water be replaced periodically? If so, how often. Do the dunks need to be replaced too?** A: Dont use this in your kids water. Just fill up the water table fresh and dump it out every time theyre finished playing. **Q: Picture shows one pack of 20 dunks, but title says 100 ct. Nowhere in the description does it say 5 packs of 20. How many dunks total??** A: I too found that a little confusing, but yes 100 dunks. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ These work great, but their PACKAGING SUCKS! *by on Reviewed in the United States 28 July 2026* These Mosquito Dunks really do the Job!We live in the desert, and have a large dry creek behind our home. It only flows occasionally, when a large rain storm passes through, a few times each year. After each flow, the creek bed dries up gradually, but leaves large pools of water, which might take a month or so to completely dry up. During that month the warm desert heat provides a PERFECT breeding place for mosquitos. Putting a few dunks in each pool solves that problem. So, why only 4 stars? That's because the PACKAGING of these dunks is virtually impossible to get into! It takes a serrated knife and a pair of scissors and a LOT of time to get these dunks out of their EXTREMELY TOUGH plastic packaging. Despite my best efforts, it takes me about an HOUR to remove all these dunks from their packaging.Hopefully, the manufacturer will read this review, and improve their packaging, so I can update this review to 5 stars, which this product would otherwise merit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These definitely do the job *by on Reviewed in the United States 25 August 2026* Every spring my husband puts them out. We live in the woods where there is a spring nearby that keeps the ground wet. This year we’ve had more rain than usual. They work like a charm. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best mosquito killer for standing water hands down. *by on Reviewed in the United States 24 July 2026* Excellent donuts! Best for any mosquito problems! Throw them in and forget about it! Mine last for a couple months. I see dead larvae constantly! It does the job! ANY standing water that gets replenished it's a must! Will definitely recommend and reorder!! Great price too! ## Frequently Bought Together - Summit…responsible solutions 155 Summit 100 Count Mosquito Dunk, Natural - SUMMIT CHEMICAL CO 117-6 30OZ Mosquito Bits - Spartan Mosquito Pro Tech - 1 Acre Pack 4 Tubes (2 Boxes) 100% American Made --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ae/products/461046364-responsible-solutions-155-summit-100-count-mosquito-dunk-natural](https://www.desertcart.ae/products/461046364-responsible-solutions-155-summit-100-count-mosquito-dunk-natural) --- *Product available on Desertcart United Arab Emirates* *Store origin: AE* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
