There is a learning curve using them. The bottles are firm and require a firm pressure to dispense. Too much pressure, a stream shoots across your counter. Finding the sweet spot can be challenging since the pressure can vary with thickness of the sauce. Plus I expect the firmness of the product vary with age - yet to be determined. They work well with items comparable to ketchup or mustard. Unfortunately for items like salad or cooking oil a slow leak occurs.
