This is a more advanced reader than the cheap Chinese readers on ebay so you will be able to access the more advanced features and diagnostics of a modern car. you will need an APP from the google playstore (other providers are available!) to use it. I primarily bought this to enable extra menus on my Insignia dash which has worked a treat using OPL Monitor, an app specifically for Vauxhall/Opel cars. it comes with a guide to show some of the apps that work with the dongle like Forscan, Bimmerlink etc..
