My previous first generation LED blue bulb was blue plastic on top with white plastic on the bottom, which looked awful in the daytime and not much better at night. This Modvera Blue LED bulb looks like a regular clear glass light bulb in the daytime and also when it is lit at night. The blue glowing "filament" looks absolutely beautiful and the blue is much richer than the older first generation bulb that it replaced. It was exactly what I had been looking for (or, to be more precise, what I had been waiting for someone to invent since LED lighting is still a developing industry). The pure blue filament accents the textured glass (plastic, actually) of my fixture and it also looks stunning compared to the simulated frosted bulb it replaced. I was so satisfied with the rich blue that I then bought a red version for a pendant lamp in my media library to replace it's first generation LED red bulb and it also was just what I'd hoped for. It is redder and is not as bright as the old bulb and matches perfectly the hue and intensity of the red LED strip lighting that lights the countertop and shelves. The old bulb was too bright and overwhelmed the strip lighting - now the room looks perfect. The photo doesn't do the red bulb justice since the pendant light is overexposed due to the camera's limitations.I couldn't be more satisfied with both bulbs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 3 months outdoor and great *by G***O on Reviewed in the United States on November 10, 2016* Bright and strong. Had two carriage lights and had used the bulbs for three weeks about 4 hour usage per night. When I went to remove the bulbs one glass globe was missing and the other came off in my hand.
