Thanks.** A: dependant on the case layout yes it can be installed with the MB in place you may have to remove the ram chips to give a little hand room remove the old fan and put to one side, try the new fan pins to familiarise yourself with how they work and how much pressure you need to exert to install them (not a lot) remove any old thermal paste from the top of the chip, and add new "do not use the old you will possibly burn out your chip" place the fan in position and fix the pins, plug in lead put back any other items you removed for access, leave the case open and start up just to ensure it runs and is not fouling anything, cover up job done. **Q: Will i really have issues if i use it on a LGA 1150 socket?** A: Yes the fixing holes are in different positions and the fan will foul other parts of the board! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lights up well *by S***T on 11 April 2024* Bought to jazz up my sons’s PC.
