Review: iPhone case - This is a great product . It really protects the iPhone super well. The only minor downside to this product is that the hinged bottom cover for the charging port does not last as long as the entire rest of the case/cover. It wears out fairly quickly after charging daily. I feel that this is a design flaw.
Review: iPhone 8 "Armor" - Bought this in May 2019 for my iPhone 8. It is May 2022 now, and, the case has just one crack at the bottom! It lasted 3 years despite taking a ton of beating (dropped several times). The phone has not experienced any scratches or cracks or any kind of damage since this case was mounted over it. The 2-layer case (inner rubber case, with hard plastic outer shell) design is awesome! It gives the phone enough cushion to protect is from any damages related to drops. At the same time, the case is not bulky and fits nicely in the pocket. One thing I wish it had was - some sort of rubber grips! There were times when this case has slipped from my hands because the outer plastic shell can get slippery at times. Otterbox got it right for the iPhone 12 mini case, where they incorporated a couple of rubber grips (I just replaced the iPhone 8 with the 12 mini and bought the Otterbox case for the 12, which is awesome!). Despite the one lacking feature mentioned above, I would still buy this again, given the observed durability. Good product!

**Q: do you need to use the clear piece?**
A: There is not a clear piece with this case. You will have to buy a separate screen protector.

**Q: Does this case have a hole/cut-out for the Apple logo on the back?**
A: I got the mint color and it does have a hole, like pictured, but it did not match up with the logo, which is lower on the back of the phone.

**Q: Does this case work for the newest ipod touch?**
A: No

**Q: Is it hard to type on the phone with this case on?**
A: No I don’t think it is hard at all i actually believe it’s easier.The case isn’t over whelming bulky at all and because the phone is so thin to start with it give you a little more to hold on to.

This is a great product . It really protects the iPhone super well. Bought this in May 2019 for my iPhone 8. It is May 2022 now, and, the case has just one crack at the bottom! It lasted 3 years despite taking a ton of beating (dropped several times). The phone has not experienced any scratches or cracks or any kind of damage since this case was mounted over it. The 2-layer case (inner rubber case, with hard plastic outer shell) design is awesome! It gives the phone enough cushion to protect is from any damages related to drops. At the same time, the case is not bulky and fits nicely in the pocket. One thing I wish it had was - some sort of rubber grips! There were times when this case has slipped from my hands because the outer plastic shell can get slippery at times. Otterbox got it right for the iPhone 12 mini case, where they incorporated a couple of rubber grips (I just replaced the iPhone 8 with the 12 mini and bought the Otterbox case for the 12, which is awesome!). Despite the one lacking feature mentioned above, I would still buy this again, given the observed durability. Good product!
