The scope is very clear and sharp. The brightness adjustment level is adequate for cloudy days and is not needed on bright sunny days. However due to its physical size (very short) it only works on an AR style rifle or pistol. Is there a low mount option ?** A: Yeah it’ll work with anything that has a picatinny rail, if your shotgun doesn’t have a picatinny rail it won’t work. I put this on my Winchester Wildcat for rabbit hunting. It worked fantastic. Very clear optic, lightweight, small compact size. I like that I get the benefit of a red dot without the need for batteries and get magnification as well.
