A: I recommend you purchase ObusFormes seat cushion.  I use the back and seat cushions together in my LazyBoy.  I don't know if weight makes a difference , but perhaps the manufacturer could help answer that question.  I find using both at the same time is the only way I can sit comfortably in my chair.

**Q: How wide is it?  My seat has "wings" and it's only aboug 11" wide in the seat part.**

I had a weird condition known as "levator ani". Basically a pain in the butt. Very uncomfortable. It's commonly described as providing the sensation of "sitting on a golf ball". That literally is a pretty good description of what if feels like. In that I have a career that requires sitting for 8 hours a day or more, you can imagine how uncomfortable that was becoming. One of our office people was using one of these and let me borrow it for a few days. I was amazed at how quickly my symptoms resolved. I now have one in my car, in my office and at home in my computer chair. They are very comfortable, provide great support. It works for me. I hope if you suffer from anything similar to the condition I had, that it works as well for you.
