After using dynatrap for many years, it is not easy to get bites when cleaning my pool in the backyard. This year, I found the light bulb was broken, so I got this replacement after buying the last one about two years ago. One interesting change is that not much insects are trapped this year when compared to the past years. Not sure if my backyard is void of bugs or the old bulb were not functioning properly. Will update the review at the end of this year.

A: Yes, according to Dynatrap's website this bulb is a replacement for DT250IN, DT300IN, DT1000-12V, DT1050, DT1100, DT1200, and DT1250.

**Q: My device is 15w.  i only see 7w replacement bulbs.  what bulb should i get?  thx.**
A: The 15 watt bulbs are long and straight, like overhead fluorescent bulbs. Your trap may need two, but Dynatrap is notorious for being out of stock on replacement bulbs. Sometimes you can buy them as part of a "package" with the Atractka packets at a higher price.

**Q: Do I need to have a green bulb for the 1/2 acre DT1250?**
A: The bulb only comes in a purplish-blue color.

**Q: How do you replace the bulb on this model, I've missplaced the instructions**
A: The bulb is easy to replace but you have to take the light apart to get to the bulb

The DynaTrap 41050 UV Replacement Bulb works perfectly with our DynaTrap Mosquito & Flying Insect Trap that we originally purchased on Amazon. Whenever we need a new bulb, we simply reorder it, and it performs exactly as expected. There is virtually no noise from the unit, except, of course, when an insect hits the trap. The bulb fits perfectly and is very easy to replace when needed. It’s bright enough to do its job but does not cause any disturbance in our living room.
