I had some trouble with the quality of the “tri-tipped” tool (the most used tool of the job), because of it’s poor quality but it got the job done. The main plug-in for the screen was not quite an exact fit, and was about 3mm offset from OEM. It worked, but barely fit. Working slowly, meticulously on a clean well lit workbench, the job took about 4hrs.The phone worked well for about 2 weeks, then problems with touch screen responsiveness began. At first there were occasional missed swipes, but the problems escalated on total unresonsiveness within another 2weeks.I suspect the miss-sized main screen plugin is at fault. My phone is now useless. All of the repair kits I’ve purchased through Amazon have worked, the packaging and attention to detail is the main differentiator.I ordered the kit for a white iPhone 7 Plus, but got the black kit (I double checked), decided to run with it anyway. It came in a basic plastic clamshell without a single page of instructions, no box as shown in the photos. The only anti-static material was ironically the bag taped to the back with spudger and other tools.The spudger was clearly already heavily used and the protective film on the screen was scratched like it slid across the floor a few times.
