Bought 4 boxes, covered most of the floor in an average sized room, probably could've used 6 boxes but we also left a space unmatted for the treadmill. Super easy to put together. I did the whole floor in under 45 minutes, and that was including cutting 4 in half to go around the wall. Not super thick but we knew that before buying and we aren't using jacked up weights so we didn't need them to be.
