The hardware is well made, easy to install and use and compared with the ADT hard wired system it replaced, slick and ‘smart’ in both senses of the word. Being able to control away from home is great for instance. BUT, and it’s a big BUT it has a massively irritating flaw, or at least for me. After about two months of using, it now notifies me, sometimes up to 50 or more times a day, that there is wireless interference compromising the system, immediately followed by a notification that it is resolved. Then it repeats, and repeats, and repeats that message for literally two or three hour periods throughout random times. I have had to turn the notifications off to save my sanity, but what if I’m missing something important? Furthermore, I’ve had to unplug the internal camera as the shutter on this clicks on and off when this is happening, again, hugely annoying. There is stuff online about this problem but with the usual rubbish about ‘have you tried this’ and ‘that might work’..no proper solution. SimpliSafe support we’re supposed to call me back about it but didn’t..I’m hoping I can return it for a full refund.
