Then using a small ball-peen hammer and the replacement press pin indcluded with this set, I was easily able to flatten the pin on the button tab. The snap socket was easily attached to the greenhouse flap using the included crimp tool. Yes - I mashed a couple with the hammer setup, but the crimp tool worked perfectly - all of the sockets were installed without damage. They were so hard to get aligned and the teeth kept bending the wrong way so I searched online and found these. They work wonderfully! The tool that came with it works well, it seems a little flimsy, but does come with extra pieces. I appreciate all the different colors of snaps and the awl that’s included. So far I’ve only used the snaps with quilting cotton and thin iron on interfacing, but no issues going through the fabric or holding firm.
