If you put them on a scale, the total weight will likely be above the description weight of this item. Other review showed and complained about the coconut fiber being too fine and making mud. TOO much water added to any substrate, will give you muddy results. Add your water slowly, more as needed, and you will end up with a perfect natural and nice spongy mix. I’d definitely buy from this vendor again.

**Q: What's the salt content of the blocks in PPM?**
A: I boiled my coco coir in 3gal’s per brick to kill pathogens and extract salt. After extraction: salts extracted with a 0.6 pH final read before adding mycorrhizae. Plants took off like a shot !

A: It can be used by adding water directly without washing

**Q: Can someone please explain why the listing says "peat moss"? Is it 100% cocopeat or mixed with peat moss?**
A: 100%coir，Coconut bran is a powder of coconut shell fibers, which is a by-product or waste of processed coconut. It is a pure natural organic medium that falls off during the processing of coconut shell fibers

**Q: Free of gnats, mites, sand fleas, etc? (may seem weird, yet have seen such, so checking.) Thank you.**
A: I did not notice any bugs or pests in my bricks.
