Water leaking into car.** A: Yes it will do the job but is an adhesive as well as a sealant, there are other sealants for that purpose, Sikaflex goes off quickly so more difficult to work with and once you use some the remainder goes off, unless you seal it off well, I would look for a windscreen sealant, this is used mostly for glueing on panels.. **Q: I have a wooden hot tub and want to seal the inside joint between the sides and base. Is this suitable.** A: Hi Mike, If the joint will be permanently immersed then I'm sorry It's not suitable. Very few single part products are.
