I used these in physio countless of times for rehab work and still to this day i continue to use it. Ive bought cheaper alternative previously in order to save money however, the plastic seem to break after about 6months to a year with consistent usage. The last bosu lasted me years and its a true testament when the one i use in physio is around 7 years old and it gets used pretty much all the time until it finally gave up. The material used is pretty much similar to the cheaper alternative this just wins out majorly when the bladder is form to the surrounding plastic which is just way more durable and thick so will last alot longer than the cheaper ones. You do hear air which personally i haven't heard before probably because of the background noises i just haven't noticed this yet it seem like the bladder itself has a pocket which when weight is placed on top of it draws air out and when you get off the air gets drawn back. This is because im am yet to reinflate the device its been consistent and hasn't deflated at all. The ball part is great - nice soft textured ball - but you can get your wrists bending back too far if not positioned properly or the ball not inflated enough. If you are using it reversed with the ball down and balancing with the handles the handles are not really cushioned (they are a very hard plastic) and it could be worth getting a piece of cushioned foam gripper mat to help with that. Have not had any problems with mine though and do like it. **Q: What are the shipping dimensions?
