Basically if your restringing your acoustic you have a little pair of tweezers that will help you pull out the pins at the bridge and they work really well even on stubborn pins that have been forced in and left for years. Does it also work on electric guitars?** A: fits really tight, works perfect on electric guitars. this is unlike the cheaper plastic ones. Am very happy with my purchase and great to have everything you need for a guitar in one gadget. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product at a reasonable price. *by C***N on 20 January 2016* First, I think it's best to say I've never restrung my guitar ever, and so I bought this nifty tool so that I could both pull out the bridge pins, untighten the machine heads as well as cut wires. At first the string winder felt a little cheap and very plasticesque. The area where your hands go is plastic which made the whole experience less satisfactory. However that feeling disappeared quickly once I started to use the product. It does the job well and cuts string well! With a little bit of practice you get a lo better at using this product as well as changing strings efficiently. It's fairly light, so easy to toss into your gig bag and just have it as you move around. The price isn't too high either, and all in all a good product, also for newbies that has never restrung a guitar!
