Very easy to use. Once set up you know the mic is going nowhere other than where you want it to be. Unlike the other more flimsy stand I used to use. Hercules are a great brand. I bought a footstool with similar qualities. It arrived 2 days earlier than expected so that was a good start. Having put the stand together it does seem quite sturdy and I've had a microphone attached to the extended boom arm for a few hours now and it hasn't moved. Also good!In the photos you will see a round cup shaped thing that was in the box. I thought maybe it was for placing the bottom of the main stand in to prevent it damaging the floor but it doesn't fit that and I can't find anywhere else to put it. I love Hercules guitar stands and this stand was no disappointment, It's sturdy and strong, the clamps are easy to use and hold it in position even with a fairly heavy condenser mic.
