## Description

The AirGo splint has been consistently developed for the protection of the ankle in athletes and for chronic instability. Padded air cells, semi-rigid stabilizers and integrated forefoot increase stability and compression without constricting. The ATFL (anterior talo fibular ligament) protects and relieves the injurious outer ligament. The Achilles' heel band provides a secure fit.

Supportive and much easier to put on and take off than aircast a60 and also provides more support and still allows a good range of movement. Note though this is for the Aircast Sport not the aircast rail. (The sport was what I was looking for so was pleasantly surprised when I received that and not an aircast rail. idk what the aircast rail even is so I think the desertcart description is wrong)

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is the heel covered?**
A: No the heel is not covered. In the back two peices come together like panels, the foot slips through the hole so that it covers the entite front of the ankle. I think this is to get it on and off eaiser. But in the back its open with s tiny strap to keep the two sides together. The strap causes issues with it fitting in a shoe its low enough to where it hits the heel in the shoe, making it very difficult and in my take a trip hazard as the only way to wear it is to loosen your laces to wear the shoe slides on and off. In the picture given it looks like the heel is covered because there is a wrap around strap to hold the two sides together further up as the sides go up your calfs pretty high.  But thr straps do not cover the heel in the back. So the picture is false advertising, or they should include pictured. I love aircast boots, but they really made this horribly. It hurts my ankle, heel and calfs to wear. It is un-useable. I have pictures if you need them. Hope this helps. Ty

**Q: I am a woman size 7, should i order a xs, or a small?**
A: I’m a woman with an 8.5 Narrow foot.  I also have small bones.  My orthopedic doctor fit me with an XSmall Aircast Airsport which is perfect size for me.  Good luck!

**Q: Does this work well for peroneal tendon tear?**
A: i'm wearing it post-surgery on a peroneal tendon tear as prescribed by my surgeon

**Q: I bought a medium based on sizing instructions but I would like to exchange for a large. Is this possible?**
A: No returns or exchanges. Very disappointed about that.
