Review: Excellent Solution for older Sound Docks - Excellent bit of kit. I have a Phillips Fideleo DS9000 I bought years ago. Fantastic sound but no bluetooth. Initially I wanted a 30 pin adapter that sits directly into the dock but after a bit of research I discovered that all of these convert the digital signal into analogue which the DS9000 cannot read. This is known as 'pure digital'. The Esinskin plugs directly into the Aux port, no hiss, no hum & no apparent loss of quality. Super easy to pair, great value at this price and smaller than you would think.

**Q: This looks exactly like a re branded version of the Logitec one but at half the price. Does anyone know if this is in fact what it is?**
A: There is a YouTube video of a guy dismantling them side by side, they are the exact same product with identical internal components, chips etc, just different branding. You pay a few quid extra for the logitec name.

**Q: Will this work with the echo dot to connect to HiFi via Bluetooth?**
A: Save the hassle and connect the echo dot via cable to hi-fi. There is a 3.5 mm output on echo dot.

**Q: Does it come with any cables for audio hook up**
A: Mine came with a phono to 3.5mm audio plug cable. To connect to my hi-fi I used a phono-to-phono lead which I had left lying around.

**Q: I  have a non blue tooth amplifier  and speakers  how do i get it to work without  wires**
A: Have used thIs to connect my Bluetooth device to a non Bluetooth amp, but you will need to connect this adapter to one of the amp inputs with audio cables. The amp will then play the audio that is transferred between your Bluetooth device (e.g phone ) and the adapter. Works great, and has a good range, e.g phone at one end of the room, amp with adapter connected at the other, so only short audio cables needed between adapter and amp.

This Bluetooth receiver is just what i was looking for, for my vintage stereo, it uses power and can be connected to a speaker or stereo via RCA to RCA or RCA to Aux supplied, Setting up was a breeze, push the top button to switch it on it will start flashing, turn your bluetooth on your laptop or mobile and look for esinkin BT adapter, press pair and it should connect and you wont need to set it up again once done, remember to set up your input selector on your stereo, mine was set to AUX, you can set up two devices to this BT receiver. Great little device with no interference to speak of, good price too..

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does its job

It’s a nice, smart little thing. It connects nicely and has various leads. The power lead has a proper plug on it so that’s nice. Also there’s a USB to power lead if you choose to use that instead. I didn’t try it as USB power can cause weird noise on such devices. I don’t know if it happens as I used the plug. I didn’t use the enclosed RCA to 3.5 cable. I used an RCA to RCA cable to connect to my sound system and the sound is decent. It’s a little quiet as others have said but my amp is fairly beefy. Now, it IS Bluetooth and it does lose a bit of sound quality due to the compression but for casual listening is just fine. It lags by a couple of milliseconds which you wouldn’t notice unless you do what I did: use this to connect a vinyl turntable to my main ancient sound system. I could have wired it but they’re kept in different parts of the room and I hate trailing wires. The turntable is a good one and connected to some good speakers by cable. I was hoping I could get the turntable to play to both systems simultaneously, ie through the speakers it is cabled to AND to the main system by Bluetooth. When you play a song, you can hear a few milliseconds difference, so it doesn’t work as an experiment. I can play through either, but not both or there’s a weird echo. The device works as it should but you should be aware of the limitations of Bluetooth: the compression isn’t lossless and there’s a very slight lag which you wouldn’t normally notice unless you do what I did.
