Review: I absolutely love this card but please read my full review and learn from my mistakes :-) - Product reviewed: PowerColor AMD ATI Radeon PCI-E RX 570 Red Devil 4 GB DDR5 HDMI/3xDP Graphics Card. Having historically used Nvidia based cards I was a bit apprehensive about going for this but not wanting to be a fanboy and carefully researching the various options on the web it appeared to be the best bang for buck budget option for 1080p so after much hesitation I took the plunge. ****Let me start by stating the obvious, this thing is very long so do make sure it will fit in your case!**** Physical installation was easy, just lay your computer on it's side and take your time. My PSU only had a 6 pin graphics card power connected so I also had to also buy a 6 pin to 8 pin cable convertor, these are very cheap but don't get caught out by this! Windows 10 automatically loaded what appeared to be a full Radeon software driver package but please learn from my mistake, ****do not try and use this driver****, I did and wasted a whole evening researching possible causes / solutions for the "fatal errors" I was continuously encountering in COD4 Black Ops, (I could not go more than about a minute at a time without crashing). I suspect the driver on the included CD will also be out of date so suggest you avoid that also. Temperature of the GPU was also reaching over 70 degrees C which I could not understand given the size of the heatsink and the fact that it has 3 fans fitted. After many years of hassle free gaming with Nvidia based cards you can imagine at this point I was starting to think I'd made a huge mistake however please read on.... So as I said, save yourself from all of the above pain and go straight to the Radeon website and download the "Adrenalin 2019 Edition" driver, (the version at time of writing this review is 19.2.3). This instantly made all my problems go away and I've not had any crashes since. Radeon appear to have listened to the feedback regarding the fact that their products were historically considered to be good hardware let down by bad software and if this driver is anything to go by they've really upped their game. I will leave you to look at the Youtube videos detailing the numerous features of the driver software but it even has an app for your mobile so you can monitor the various parameters of the graphics card such as temperature, memory usage, power usage etc. Another piece of advice is be sure set a fps, (frames per second), limit in all your games, this is something that I had not even thought about before but let me explain why. I'm using a 1080p TV as a monitor and I think it has a refresh rate of 60hz (i.e. the screen refreshes 60 times a second), so what is the point of the graphics card working flat out producing 300+ fps if like me your display can only show 60 fps anyway! You are causing your graphics card to work flat out, (consuming more power, producing more heat and fan noise, (they are very quiet though), and potentially shortening the life of the card), for no gain whatsoever. Setting a fps limit to match your display and tweaking the fan speed curve from within the driver has resulted in my card running between 40 - 55 degrees C in COD4 Black OPS which I am very happy with. The fans are quiet and as I said you can easily adjust the fan profile curve in the driver software, (i.e. you can set several control points so that when the card reaches a certain temperature the fans will run at whatever percentage of full speed you specify). While the card is not under any load they often are not spinning at all! The card itself uses a single 8 pin power connector so does not need anything crazy in terms of power supply. It also looks very nice and appears to be very well made. I love the metal backplate as I've seen many other graphic cards where the PCB's are drooping under the card's weight. Having come from a Nvidia 650TI Boost the difference is simply amazing. COD4 Black Ops look stunning and runs effortlessly. So to wrap this review up, with the latest drivers this card not only looks amazing but it also performs very well indeed, I think you would struggle to find much better at this price point. I hope you find the above useful and happy gaming. :-)
Review: Love it - Pros: Very fast and not loud at all. It matches a stock 480 4gb no problem and overclocks like a beast. However, I find it can max most every game I play on Ultra Wide Screen 2k no problem just how it is ( no overclocking required). No need to pay the higher price for a 580, here is your beast. I have my core overclocked at default voltage 1390 MHz and I almost never hear the fan at its default settings. Truly, this card is very good and will worth the money. Cons: I cannot find any what so ever. I have not had a single issue at all. The card seems built very well. Other Thoughts: I would recommend this card for everyday gaming to anyone. I play Battlefield One ,Tomb Raider and FIFa 17 on max setting 21.9 ratio at 2k resolution on a 29 inch monitor without a hitch using a Intel 6600k Sandybridge Cpu and 16gb of ram. I get well over 65- 75 fps in every game.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks nice, does the job, Hynix memory
*by D***D on 18 October 2017*

Does the job, lots of fans to cool more quietly, reminds me of the Manchester United soccer team. What's not to like? Mine is Hynix memory, fair enough.
