It also has lined protection so it’s not scraping up your studio as you put it in and out. It’s solid metal, feels super secure and heavy duty. Note that it really has to be mounted as shown. The only thing keeping it in really is gravity. There’s no top side lock. So it needs to be mounted with the plugs facing upward. That being said it’s very secure once in the mount. Also the mount doesn’t block the front usb-c/thunderbolt plugs. The mount also allows for proper air circulation.
