This book has provided me with more than enough detail to be able to get myself up and running, with topics presented in an easy to follow format and examples of theories put into practice. I have only just got through chapter 1 but I am already looking forward to chapter 2. This new edition is larger in size than the previous edition (length and width not thickness) however there is a white space around the text which could now be used for writing notes in. Whilst not a book which is going to supply any model answers it is excellent for understanding the art of teaching. The book informs, in a very accessible fashion, just what it takes to be a teacher in the modern era.
