This is a good basic calculator, of which there are many on the market, however this one does have a feature which makes it very useful to me. As long as you don't press the AC (all cancel) button, it will remember the last answer indefinitely, even after it has turned itself off (as long as the battery is good). Most calculators do not do this. I have switched the calculator on after a weekend and the previous answer still displays. This function is very handy for my work where I need to double-check that I have set the machine correctly 20-30 mins later. Even though it switches itself off to save power (like most calculators do after 8mins) I just switch it on, press ANS, and the last answer is displayed. It saves me constantly writing down a calculated dimension for later reference, or worse still redoing the calculation.
