Review: Solid BB for any bike - Solid bottom bracket. I have this on both my road and gravel bike. Installation was easy (removing the square taper BB however, haha.) Great bang for your buck as far as riding, whether you're on the road or dirt. Pedaling difference coming from a square taper BB was a big difference especially with power distribution with how smooth the pedaling was.

Solid bottom bracket. I have this on both my road and gravel bike. Installation was easy (removing the square taper BB however, haha.) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Took that annoying creak out of my drivetrain

I've been riding a lot this past year through some very wet New England weather. Although I'm pretty good about maintenance and making sure to dry off my bikes before putting them away, I started developing some annoying creaks in the drivetrain of my "do everything" steel gravel bike. After tightening and lubricating the pedals, crank, cassette, axels and chain, I was left with only one potential culprit, the BB. Fortunately, this model is inexpensive and a breeze to install. For such a cheap part, it really made a world of difference. My pedaling is now smooth and relatively silent again. Note that you will need a Hollowtech bottom bracket tool to do the install, which is unfortunately more expensive than the BB itself.
