Despite some negative reviews on YouTube, I chose it for its good looks and active electronics. To my surprise, it delivers excellent sound quality, especially when paired with an Orange bass combo. I previously owned a more expensive Yamaha 504, which was well-built, but this bass offers great value and sound, making me prefer it and sell the Yamaha.
