But the magnetic lock is waterproof. By the way, attached a video to show how to operate the device. **Q: Can data be downloaded to see who has been through door?** A: No not at all. There's nowhere to connect to. It's extremely primitive and wasn't even strong enough to hold a cabinet door closed from my two year opening it. The instructions are a little difficult to follow, but the colour coding helps. I also added a second door release using an old door bell push. The programming is very easy, setting up the tokens and an access code was quick and easy too. The wires for a bell seem to be live all the time, which doesn't seem to make sense, so I couldn't add a door bell to the system.
