I was initially sceptical based on previous experience but after much dilly-dally decided to take the plunge. Am I glad I did? Read on. Aesthetics and Ergonomy: Looks fantastic. Nice colour combinations. Beatiful zip type/pattern. Nice shoulder and back pad rests. No form of pain during use nor after. Reliability: 100%. Never let me down. Always does what I plan it to do (well I'm not saying bag a car in it). It always manages to contain reasonable extent of 'load' and still remain easy to use. Durability: I have not had any form of tear, significant wear, irremovable stain or other things of the likes. It still feels like new. Not the slightest thread loss visible. In fact there is no sign of it beginning to wear soon. Looks like it's going to last forever. And it still looks new even with active use. Functionality: Does what it says on the tin. Comfortably houses anything up to 17inches laptop (probably well over). Lots of space for charger, phones, water bottles, stationary, books and even clothes all at the same time. While in use, when put on the back, even with lots of content, the weight is so evenly distributed that you almost don't feel it. Cost: At £49.99 (my cost), it's well worth it. **Q: what is limited lifetime warranty? What is covered in this warranty?**
A: Well I can tell you from my experience dealing with this company that you can forget any "lifetime warranty" they may offer. My backpack started falling apart within a months time and I contacted the company and sent them pictures of the product. They claimed that they never had this happen to one of their products before and refused to do anything about it. I have never dealt with a company with such awful customer service. So now I am stuck with a $100.00 worthless backpack. (Btw, the problem I had was the thread the product was sewn with seemed to be rotted and it broke apart.) In my opinion the product is not a quality product at all and not worth the price.

**Q: May I ask any of you owners to measure the depth of the padding on each side of the laptop compartment ? thanks**
A: By my desk ruler it's about 15"

**Q: Is the bottom of the pack also well padded?**
A: No, thin pad on bottom.  Be careful setting it down...

A: I just tried my 17" HP and it fits, a little tight up top but it fits.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best of the best

This is the first time I have ever really reviewed a product from Amazon, or anywhere else for that matter, but for this, I couldn't resist. It really is the best of the best. The large backpack is the perfect size to fit everything you'd need whether it be going to and from work, going on a short business trip, or for me, travelling home from University for a weekend. You'll find plenty of room for all your essentials and more. I manage to fit a weekend worth of clothes, my laptop, external hard drive, large text books and folders etc with plenty of room. Also I would like to point out that I have a Dell XPS 15 (a 15.5 inch laptop) and when in it's slip cover it fits nicely in the bag's 17 inch pocket so you don't need to worry about the size too much. The build quality is absolutely amazing and really is built to last. Swiss Gear haven't cut any corners with the materials used either which give it a super rugged feel. Built like a tank! In addition, there is great padding on the backpack just where it's needed, not only to protect your tech but also on your back to make it really comfortable to carry. I have been extremely happy with this backpack and although it's expensive (for a student anyway!) it's definitely worth it. You really do get what you pay for and I wont be shopping for another bag in a while as I think this one's going to last forever! If you looking for the mother-ship of all laptop backpacks then this is the one for you.
