**Q: What is the difference between this and the 'coffee filter cones' on Amazon? Does it justify the £20+ price difference?**
A: A clever dripper is a much easier way of making great coffee. the hot water sits with the grounds (in the filter) until the dripper is placed on a mug or jug due to a simple valve. With the 'coffee filter cones' such as a V60 or chemex there is no valve, therefore the hot water will flow through the grounds and come straight out the bottom into the vessel it is placed on. There is a particular technique of pouring into a V60 to maximise the flavour, and maximise it does! the V60 makes the best coffee I've ever had, but it was poured by a real pro (time, practise and effort is much greater with the filter cones).off the top of my head with about 30g of grounds in the clever dripper you can fit about 450 - 475 ml of water in the clever dripper at one time.

**Q: For anybody that has used both, what is the taste comparisons between this and a v60, could it be cleaner than the mighty v60 ?**
A: The clever dripper is more of an immersive brew, perhaps more akin to a French press / cafetiere brew. With the V60 the water drips through more quickly so you get a lighter result with V60 as each x ml of water has less contact with the coffee grounds.

**Q: after coffee brewed and placed on cup, how long does it take to drip through?**
A: It depends on how coarse or fine your coffee is ground. A finely ground coffee takes longer for the water to go through and extracts more of the coffee, faster through a coarsely ground coffee. You can experiment if you grind your own to get the right taste and time you prefer. I use a medium ground coffee and it takes about two and a half minutes. Good idea is to look a clever dripper up on YouTube to see how to use it and how long it should take.

**Q: I am confused if paper filters are included. some have said they are, others say not. and image shows filters included. are they or not? many thanks.**
A: There were no papers included in my purchase. I bought some filtropa ones separately.
